A Lot Like Love (5 out of 10 stars)

Genre: Romantic Comedy
Director: Nigel Cole
Reviewer: JewlGrl1
Year: 2005

I saw this movie a week before it came out, and I was suprised by how good it was. It's about Oliver and Emily, who meet on a flight to L.A. They both assume just how wrong they are for each other, and wind up getting drunk and hooking up. They soon become friends, but still think they're horribly wrong for each other. Then, suddenly, they get thrown together. I thought this movie was funny and charming, and that it represented a fun way of falling in love. I especially liked how it took place over seven years, and wasn't just a "quick few months" thing. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that the scenes went by very quickly, but I can get past that. It was a great movie, all in all.
