Why not join the Link Exchange! You submit your URL to them with a banner 400x40 pix (under 7k) and then paste the appropriate HTML on your page. A banner will appear on your page that will have rotating advertisements and your banner will be rotated to other sites as well. When you log in to them you can see how many people have visited your sight and how many have viewed and clicked your banner.
