Imagemaps are exactly what they say - an Image that is being portrayed as a map of links.
The most widely used Imagemap on the Web, that I find, is the Clientside Imagemap. The only downside to using a Clientside image map is that not all browsers will be able to read it. If you are going to use an Imagemap, I suggest that you also offer alternative links.

Do you want to Create an Imagemap?

First you will need an Imagemap maker (and a Graphics Program). There are many shareware, freeware and demo versions available for download at TUCOWS and on the internet. Since many of the versions are 30 day trials, I suggest that before you download one, take a little visit to:

There you can get a fair idea of who, where, which, what and how to make an image map. If you feel you are ready - Let's get Map Making! You will need an Imagemap maker. Below I have listed a few that you may like:
