Well it was certainly a day for staying inside and sheltering from the rain and wind - te kino o te Feb Floods. Anyone would think it was winter which makes me wondering what the heck is going to happen when we actually hit the real makachilly season. Anyway, keep warm & safe y'all.

Today as I shook the bugs out of my warewhare 60cm faux tree that comes with glued on decorations, lights that never get removed and only half work, I though I'd get a mihi up earlier than Xmas eve this time. And so on my quick reflection of the year that has come and gone, here we are again. I hope you've all been good kotiro mä? Kia tata te taenga mai a Hana Koko me ana reinatia ki a mätou kainga....

Update 3 Hakihea Nau mai rä ki Te Waenganui o te Ao! I spent today overwatching the horses used in the LOTR parade pooing at the back of parliament buildings and being transformed in the swelting heat into scary transport for the ringwraiths that you see here >

And if there is ever a time to brag about one of those chance fate encounters, then here is mine with Aragorn. Being at Adelaide end of Welly city anyway, what better an oppo to go and see Viggo Mortensen's photo exhibit 'Mo Te Upoko o te Ika' up at the War Memorial museum. Well after going in the wrong entrance and ending up at the NZSO rehearsal for the LOTR's musical score tribute to be delivered at the MFC that night, I finally figured that the main entrance was probably where I needed to be. While standing in mild confusion at the bottom of a 2-way split stairs, down the stairs comes Aragorn looking like he's of any hick town - kore hu, track pants and one big bone carving - but make no mistake people; he doth ooze starness without trying. Had a quick "chitchat" in the manner that I believe celebs would appreciate and then stopped catching flies and left coz the exhibit had closed hours earlier for some premiere dinner thing.

Anyway, cut to the motorcade parade 2 days later. Here's a few of the best piks I managed to get along their way...

This morning @ 7.10 am our twinnies were born. So that just begs the patai of who's next? And hey, I just realised that this weekend was sposed to be our reunion weekend but obviously our whirlwind lives take precendence =] For instance, having babies or going to Banks Shoes (yeah yeah) who are having a sale at the mo...cough cough err hmm yes. Anyh00 loves T.T.F.N.

Miss Porangahau have blessed us with a new iramutu. Just waiting on a pair!! Also big wuvs to Kel-Bel and her whänau for the passing of Papa Harry Eruera on Sunday gone. Thinking of ya gurl.

Happy Matariki everyone! Well its been just a tad quiet on the Group Hug front all and all. But with excuses like having babies and gee I don't know... saving the world in our spare time... or wait was that shopping I have that mixed up with?? who knows, who cares.

We have some huge news that requires its own post right here! Bernie McGill (nee Viles) is not doing things by halves, nor wholes it would seem, but by doubles! Us aunties are going to be blessed with TWINS!!! Don't you just get that *sigh* feeling right after *wow*! On that note, we haven't heard from Jaye for a while, so I'm guessing she's lost about hmmm 8-9 pounds in one shot. Fill us in girl! Just one last thing before I leave you to browse a little, its Torouka's b-day today also. Rä whänau lovey.

Update 2 Poutu te Rangi
Okay so our Reunion has hit a bit of of snag, but that's all good. Gives us time to tone up those abs! The song list has started its circulation and is growing enormously. Looks like we are going to end up with The Best Of Volumes 1 to 10. Sheekas. Anyways, as for the site the TAMAFREAKY page will be added as part of a site revamp. It's information overload at the mo... Ciao for nao bellas.

Well the new wai is up so see if you can remember that one! Also we have some mvmt on THE REUNION by atleast looking at some dates and scoring up a Kaiwhakahaere. Kia ora ra... Time to start saving some putea I think. Got a CD whakaaro out there for us... and as for this site.. a TAMAFREAKY page will be coming soon! So send me ya piks all you whaea out there!

And now more importantly for this update... [drumroll pls!] we have two new soon-to-be mommies and a wife since I last updated!!! Yaaaah!

Kia ora goils! Just got rid the Chrissy theme for a start coz we are so over that aye! (sorry kids) . So yes, a bit of a makeover but I'm just not ready to change the wallpaper yet... haha.
