Melissa has been a sister in Sigma Lambda Alpha Sorority, Inc. for 3 years. She is a 2002 alumnae of the Alpha Chapter at Texas Woman's University. She graduated with a BS in Health Studies and an MS in Family Studies . She is currently employed at Girl Scouts of Tejas Girl Scouts in Dallas, TX. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Family Studies at Texas Woman's University.
