Diversity on the Planet.
It was the sheer bloody minded persistence of Hector Peter Pidgeonhole that drove him in the years 105 to 120 to make the all important discovery about the nature of Life on the Planet.

Hector Peter caught, illustrated, bottled, classified, and as he's naming name names him, Pidgeonholed, 300000 distinct species of flying organism found within 1 km of his Fenland home village.

He was a man obsessed with becoming the Planets Linnaeus, the old Earth biologist that establish the specie classification system.

Hector failed dismally to find any faintly plausible classification of species on the Planet. None what so ever.

After his untimely but not unasked for end in a large Crock. It was left to Herbert Swivler to see past that the complexity and diversity to a mechanism now called "Frameworks". Frameworks enable organisms to share, exchange, adopt or steal genetic traits with or from any other organism.
