Concerts

If I can remember correctly, I was about 8 or 9 when I went to my first concert. I'm a music-loving freak and because of it I try to find every opportunity to go to a show whether its a big concert in a huge arena or a local blockparty. If I could experience good music live, then its worth missing work, school,...whatever, just to go. Here's a list of some of the people/bands I went to see. Click on some of them to get more details.

Jimmy Page & Robert Plant - at the Philadelphia Spectrum, twice - first and second concert
Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute
Christine Lavin - at Godfrey Daniels Coffeehouse in Bethlehem
Sally Fingerette (Godfrey Daniels)
Troutfishing in America (Godfrey Daniels)
Cliff Eberhardt (Godfrey Daniels)
No Doubt - my first concert w/ a bunch of my friends
Roger Waters (former member of Pink Floyd)- "In the Flesh" tour
Live/Counting Crows - Aug. 12 2000 in Scranton
Buddy Guy - February 2001, Keswick Theatre
Aerosmith - June 23 at Hershey Stadium
Tom Petty - finally my turn to see him at Montage

Jonatha Brooke - at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA
Michelle Branch - here at Susquehanna University. Honestly...I had more fun bowling afterward...I'll explain later.

Concerts that I regretably missed out on, most of which my parents saw: the other half of the Roger Waters show, Guns n Roses to take the stage in Philly at the spectrum, Pink Floyd "Division Bell" tour '94 -I'd say my second favorite cd, Aerosmith "Get A Grip" tour '94, Jefferson Starship & Thirty-Eight Special - 1981 (wasn't born yet), Heart '90 at Philly -my dad was lucky to be working just down the street and got to see them, Michael Hedges - amazing guitarist, sadly passed away before I could ever see him, Alice Cooper/Scorpions tour '96, Jethro Tull

Rock & Roll Heaven wishlist: the Beatles including John Lennon, Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Doors w/ Jim Morrison, original Lynyrd Skynyrd band - includes Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Allen Collins, and the recent Leon Wilkeson, bassist; Led Zeppelin w/ drummer John Bonham "Bonzo" (amazing drummer), Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, original Def Leppard band w/ guitarist Steve Clark, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Michael Hedges, Nirvana w/ singer Kurt Cobain, Patsy Cline, and many more...I'm sure they're up there making music as we speak...
