Okay so school started today. So far it sounds like things will be okay...It is a whole lot of reading and writing, which is fine. The Philosphy classes are cool...one is more classic in terms of the readings assigned. It is a whole lot of Plato, Aristotle, Kant and Wills. It is good to get back to the classics. The second one is more up my more particular interests...following the architectre of cognition and how the mind works. It sounds good. Japanese is the worse problem. It starts next wednesday. I found out that my grade last semester was a C. this bothers me a bit but at the same time it doesn't transfer to the U so I am not too worried about it. I do have a decent amount of anxiety about the class...I like japanese in the abstract but not in practice. So I am dreading it but it will bring me one step closer to finishing my language requirements which is good.
No new word on Matt as of yet...My mom is in baltimore as we speak and I haven't heard anything from here. That is tough, the waiting. There's plenty of things coming up soon, all of which I have to wait for. I have to wait for news of Matt, My black belt is coming up in Feb which I have to wait for, my birthday in mar, some concerts and events...It is difficult as I sit here to have things on the horizon but to not be able to touch them or prepare for them(except the black belt)...Anyway it is an odd time. Not a bad one, but an odd one.
