A M A Z O N

Many houses are on the shore of the rivers, there are many people that live by these shores, their roofs are built out of dry palm trees. The houses are made out of wood, and some are done with mud, the mold the house walls with mud and the sun takes care of hardening it. The floating house shown in this picture is made out of wood and the roof out of dry tree branches.

One of the most beautiful scenaries a person can ever experience is the refection of the sky at dawn on the amazon river. It can take a person's breath away, many of the the amazon's characteristics hold within its midst great beauty.

Many of the tourists prefer to stay in lodges in the jungle in order to get the full experience of the Amazon.These lodges are comfortable and very different from a five star hotel. The atmosphere is very primitive and simple, but the experience is unique.

The houses that are built by the river shore are built with tree branches at the bottom for support. When the tide comes in the houses can become flooded, so in order to secure safety the houses are built high up.

The Amazon jungle is full of adventure, the adventures are a lot of fun and create memories of a lifetime. There is no doubt of course that there is plenty to do for the daredevils out there. =)
