My Story

Hello my name is Geraldine Lee Reynaga. I was born in Lima, PERU on February 28 of the 1981. I lived in Lima untill 9 months from birth, and then i moved to Iquitos the most beautiful place in the world, where i say i am from, because is not where i was born where i'm from, but what i can call home. I am 18 years old now, I lived in Iquitos until I was 10, and it was enough time to miss it in a special way. At the age of 10 I came to the United States, I live in Newark, New Jersey. I attended a catholic school Queen of Peace, which is located in North Arlington, New Jersey. I live with my mommy, sister and grandma and uncle, although this country has a reputation to be very liberal, my family have always raised me with a Peruvian cultural values and morals. I am very proud of being Peruvian and from such a beautiful part of the world, I feel Peruvian because it's my culture but American because my mentality is being molded in this country.I am Very thankful to my mom for always giving me the option to commit my own faults in order to learn from my own mistakes, and although I make my own decisions my mom always knows that I will take into account her advise. I have many dreams, but in order to achieve them I must have a profession and be someone I'm proud of in this crazy life. I plan to study communicacions-art in college, my passion is dancing and if i can i'm willing to make it a career, but ofcourse without leaving my studies to the to the side, it's very importanto for me to finish a profesional carrer in college.My hobbies are clubbing and all the good stuff that comes with it, reading a good book, writting poetry, shopping, hanging out with my friends and my family.

Me llamo Geraldine Lozano Rynaga, naci el 28 de Febrero del 1881. Naci en Lima Peru hasta los 9 meses de nacida, despues mi mami y yo nos mudamos a Iquitos, peru, el lugar mas bello del mundo. Vivo en Newark, New Jersey, USA desde los 10 anios. Tengo 18 anios ahora, atendi la secundaria en una escual privada Catolica, Queen of Peace en North Arlington NJ. Ahora vivo con mi mami, hermana y abuelita y tio. Aunque este pais tenga una reputacion de ser muy luberal con la juventud, yo sigo adelante positivamente con el apoyo de mi familia. Mi familia siempre me an inculcado mis raises peruanas y morales para siempre mantener mi cultura. Me siento Peruana en cultura pero con mi mente superada de Americana, estoy desde temprana edad en este pais y eh logrado mucho.Estoy muy agradecida a mi mejor amiga, mi mami por siempre dejarme cometer mis propios errores, con la confiansa que siempre tengo en mente todo lo que ella me a enseniado desde ninia. Tengo muchos suenios y metas, los quiero realisar y voy a trabajar mucho para lograrlos, para eso voy a atender la universidad y hcerme una carrera a la cual estare muy orgullosa de mi misma, es muy importante para mi terminar mi carrera. Estoy estudiando Comunicaciones-Art. Mi pasion es el Baile y me encantaria hacerlo una carrera si la oportunidad se presenta, tambien amo escribir poema, leer, comprar, salir con mis amigos y estar con mi familia.
