She Flies
In raptured quiet, the world waits in tempting retreat. In stilted reverie, she looks beyond the darkened sky. Deep breath taken, she stands on the edge of the world. Shambled dreams, set free to envelope captured thoughts. © Riala
Encapsulated moments, to intense for eyes to translate.
Beholden breaths, brought to fruition untouched by life.
Charred remains, forgotten in the moment of ultimate peace.
Standard gestures, absent from rambling thoughts of the common.
Glistening tears, pearls of a souls passing yet to be seen.
Thoughts forgotten, of wonderous moments yet to be.
Alone in her being, she seeks no sign of life.
Ears aching for sound, she knows she goes unheard.
In quiet trepidation, she gathers her heart and soul.
Shambles of dreams, showing from beneath her lids.
Rags of hope, showing from beneath her smile.
Silent words spoken, she is all she's ever been.
Lightened eyes, look through her broken world.
Majestic peaks, greet her weary bound soul.
In wonder, she stands awed by the encompassing beauty.
All that has or will, compounded at this moment.
Ragged hope, beautiful in it's tenious freedom.
She breathes, she steps forward, and she flies...
