From the Idiot's site
Gail has said that we “will definitely see The Dub Room Special on DVD for the Fall (which is upon us) and at LEAST 2 (two!) CDs ere the 12 days of Christmas are out. And after the first of the year we will absolutely CRUSH all Boxes!” She later clarified this last: “when I say we will CRUSH all Boxes, I mean that – but I do not mean to suggest that there is a project set for release with that name. And you will be hearing something that has not previously been released in any manifestation – in the fairly immediate future.” One must assume that one of the two pre-Xmas discs will be Trance-fusion. But obviously there’s no guarantee

Hi
Sadly, the tour has been postponed til next June on Gail Zappa's orders.
We (Flo and Eddie) helplessly apologize to anyone who bought tickets expecting the greatest tribute concert EVER!
We were all packed and ready to go too.
Now all of us are "on hold" until next summer when we'll be forced to go through the ordeal of paperwork and fine print once again.
Still, you have to keep believing!
When (if) this package ever does get the green light, it's going to be the coolest tour ever!
And, as far as I'm concerned, that will be worth the wait.
Thank you all for your patience in this matter.
what can we (any of us!) do?
Howard Kaylan

World Premiere of Steve Vai's Lotus Feet on 4fm
The track Lotus Feet from the long expected Steve Vai-album Real Illusions; Reflections is to be premiered on Sunday, January 16th, in the Dutch Public Radio program 4fm-Mix van dat Alles (Mix of it All). The new Vai-album will be released this year.
Steve Vai began his career in 1980 als guitar player in the band of Frank Zappa. He not only played some of the most complicated guitarparts, he also was responsible for writing down scores and arrangements made by Zappa. In the mid-eighties Vai played guitar in several Hard Rock groups, as Whitesnake and Alcatraz. He also teamed up with vocalist David Lee Roth.. In 1984 Steve Vai started his solo-career by releasing the album Flex-able. He has made 13 solo-albums since then.
Steve Vai is currently working on his soon to be released studio-album Real Illusions; Reflections. For every track a different recording session is planned and every session is extensively commented upon by the artist himself on his website www.vai.com. One of the tracks that will be released on the album Real Illusions; Reflections is the composition Lotus Feet that Vai has recorded in The Netherlands with the Metropole Orchestra conducted by Dick Bakker, and will be broadcasted coming sunday. This will be the world premiëre of Steve Vai's Lotus Feet.
The 4fm-radio program Mix van dat Alles is broadcasted every sunday evening on Dutch Public Radio 4. It is compiled and presented by Co de Kloet. The show starts at 22.30 h. Central European Time and can also be received by webradio. For this, click on "luister naar radio 4 fm" on the 4fm-website www.4fm.nl
