CROCK POT RECIPES



POT ROAST

This one is SUPER easy.
3-4 Lb Pot Roast
5-6 peeled (or Unpeeled) potaotes cut in quarters
6-7 carrots (again peeled or not) sliced rather large
1 small onion (optional) cut in quarters
1/2 cup water
1. layer potaoes, then carrots, and pot roast on top.
2. Add 1/2 cup water.
3. Add seasonings to you roast. (I use garlic         powder, sweet basil and lemon pepper.)
4. Cook on high 4-6 hours.
5. Reserve the "juice" to make gravy. ( I use the     powder gravy and it works just fine.

BEEF STEW

Another Easy one 1 lb of stew meat cut into smaller pieces ( if         desired)
3-4 potatoes cubed
4-5 carrots sliced
2 cups of water
season as desired ( I use the same spices as     above)
Cook 4-6 hours on HIGH
To thicken use powdered gravy ( I do)



SWISS STEAK


1 Round Steak cut
1 can of stewed tomatos
2 cans of Cream of Mushroom or cream of celery soup
throw everything in and cook for 4-6 hours on   high



CREAM CHEESE CHICKEN

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 cube of butter
1 pkg. Italian seasoning mix
1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 10 3/4-oz. can cream of chicken soup
Cooked rice or pasta

Cube chicken into bite-sized pieces. Combine chicken pieces, butter and Italian seasoning mix in a Crock-Pot (slow cooker) and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Then add cream cheese and soup, and cook on high until cheese is melted. Serve over rice or pasta.
