Control System, appliances, lighting, traction motors, wheel slip anomalies, and dynamic brakes.
Handbrakes, Trucks, wheels, couplers, shoes, governor, diesel, spark arrestor and loose or dragging equipment.
Anomalies in pressure or air flow, including Brake Pipe, reservoirs, independent brake, pneumatic controls (pc), and piston travel.
Safety Control and alert, speedometer, I.D.U., radio, and on board computer (cpu).
Although the official reporting policy is the contact in Calgary as per G.O.I Sect15;1.3, "Defect Books", where provided are still the proceedure for booking locomotives at outposts, captive, and local yards. This space is reserved for future links to the local maintenance personel, and yard co-ordinators.

In previous practices all locomotive defects at Lambton Yard were recorded in a log book located in the yard office. In order to track all defects and to have them repaired in a timely manner this practice will be STOPPED and all locomotive defects are to be reported as per GOI Section 15 Item 1.3
