Description: The breakup of the European Union left two trading blocs in Western Europe. The northern of these two blocs is dominated politically by Britain and Germany. More conservative than their neighbors to the south, they are nevertheless locked in a bitter trade dispute with Blue and are eager to reunite Canada. With a powerful army and air force, their navy lacks only big-deck carriers to be one of the world's most dangerous. Since they have the North Sea oil fields and Canada's mineral wealth, they were not as badly hurt as other nations by the Oil Crisis of the early 1990's, but the general slowdown of the global economy still hurt them pretty bad.
