According to Judy Ann Santos, she is very excited working in this animated film as the voice behind Darna. "This is a new field for me," she said during the press conference of her new movie "Ibaon Mo Sa Limot." 

"I'm so excited to see the final product.  Now and then, ipinapakita sa amin ang ilang mga scenes. At grabe ang ganda. Parang Hollywood ang pagkakagawa. World Class." she said about her movie.

According to her, her work in the movie is not yet finish.  Although she already recorded all her dialogues for the first take, succeeding takes will still be needed.

"Actually, they haven't finished recording all the voices for all the scenes yet. Although I have finished recording all my dialogues.  They still ask me to go to the studio to record some more, or change my dialogue.  Pinapaganda talaga, kaya dapat subaybayan. And my dialogue coach is very good to me." she added.

Marvin Agustin is no neophyte in lending his voice for an animated character. Being Darna's alter ego's brother, Ding, the character is far from his first animated role as Juan in the film Ibong Adarna. 

"Exciting talaga 'yung movie. Kung alam niyo lang." he said about his experience doing the voice of Ding.

Asked about being Judy Ann Santos' younger brother in the film, he just smiled and said, "Am I really his younger brother in the movie?"

It seems that there are twists and turns in the movie's plot that the producers don't want to divulge right now.

Cesar Montano was upset that he won't be able to sing in the animated movie Darna.

"Akala ko kakanta ako kaya ako nag-sign up.  'Yun pala, hindi." he said jokingly.

Cesar will be doing the voice of Panday in the movie. 

When asked about having to fill in a big shoe since the the role were previously acted in the big screen by action star giants such as Fernando Poe Jr. and Ramon Revilla, he said timidly: "I'm proud."

However, he was tight lipped as a clam when pried for details about the movie since the buzz is that he is one of the major characters. "It's for you to find out." he said.

Princess Punzalan has just finished recording her part in the movie as the villain Valentina. 

There were controversy lying in her taking the role.  According to a rumor, the producers wanted Gladys Reyes to portray the snake queen.  However, after much discussion, the film makers resolved to give the role to Punzalan.

According to the buzz, one of the factors considered was Punzalan's encore performance as the antagonist Selena in the ABS-CBN soap opera, Mula sa Puso.

However, Punzalan was not able to comment about the matter.

Starmation presents the Official Darna and Starmation Website at www.starmation.com where enthusiast of the famed heroine can get first hand information about the production of the animated film.

Meanwhile, Nestor Castillo, co-producer and chief animator of the film admits that Darna: The Animated Movie is just a working title.  "As soon as we're nearing completion, you will know everything about it.  The better for you to log on to our website." he said.

Starmation - The ABS-BCN Animation Studio just changed its address.

The company now has a new home located at 1024 Sgt. Esguerra corner Timog Avenue in Quezon City.  The Starmation complex boasts state of the art animation production studio.  

Erwin Ong, co-founder of the company, said that they are now on the way into creating their second animated movie. With this development, the company is now open for job seekers who specialize or want to learn the art of animation production.
