Education at St. Stephen’s
Youth Education
Church School at St. Stephen’s has been very
vibrant since 1995, where now starting in the 2000-2001 school year we have 35
children who have been attending and learning the Gospel. The Church School
children (and their parents and friends) has been involved in 2 major field
trips every year, including: Visit to Forest
Park Zoo in Longmeadow, MA, to celebrate the end of the Church School year
and all of the accomplishments the children have made. (This year they visited Six
Flags Amusement Park in Agawam, MA). They also visit The Pickin’ Patch in
Avon, CT, where the children and their parents take a hay ride to the Pumpkin
Patch and pick the best one to take home.
Church School is conducted with 2 teachers and
per class. The curriculum is set up to follow the Christian Seasons with help
from the Lectionary.
