Abalone Season

When: The California Dept. of Fish and Game sets the season for abalone gathering. The season is divided into two parts. (b) Open Season and Hours: Abalone may be taken only during the months of April, May, June, August, September, October and November from one-half hour before sunrise to one-half hour after sunset.
