On Day 2, went to the train station and hop on to the tourist bus
that would bring one to Huaqing Pool for a fee of RMB6. The
route ends at the Terracotta Warrior site. This bus is
available every 15 minutes. Ask the policeman who controls traffic
in front of the police station on where to find the bus.
My visit started with Huaqing Pool. Entrance fee was RMB40. This is
where the famous concubine of Emperor XuanZong took her bath in the
Hot Spring. There are Tang dynasty dance performances for visitors.
If you don't fancy strolling around the man-made garden, you can
skip this spot. Behind Huaqing Pool is Lishan . I took a cable
car (RMB40) to the peak. Along the ride, one can see lots of
promegranate trees at the foot of the hill. |
