Have we outlived our usefulness? If we don't take a lesson from the "gentler" sex we are destined for self destruction. There will have to be a development of our consciousness instead of our pickup trucks (or computers). If there isn't we are just working on another foil for ourselves! Let he who has ears...

Becoming like men will not necessarily give you freedom... The eye for eye
mentality is just a starting place in spiritual development! Freedom can only be found in the framework of understanding your true place; wherever that may be... This kind
of true freedom requires a benevolent spirit and a selflessness (for men
and women) that does not demand it's own way. This is true liberty.
Speaking of...Benevolence
This is a formula I've discovered:
BENE = Be Nice Everybody
I = Me First
VIOLENCE - I =Volence
BENE+VOLENCE = BENEVOLENCE
Violence is a form of fear, it is our emotions telling us "I must preserve
myself- get what I have to get for ME"...the violent man acts
irrationally. The violent man thinks about himself and overlooks - a
"higher power" of love. Love and wisdom operate on principle, instead - of
what the eye can see... Having the goodness of God in you, you of a common
spirit have authority over the violent man! (Inside you and
outside of you)! As JT sings- "It's okay to feel afraid but don't let that
stand in your way". Look for an active way you can defeat violence with
love! Like Patti Smith says "everybody's a soldier". But we win through love- we win because we first give up OUR fight to a greater good.
Darkness is defeated by the mere presence of light...
It's true we're all fighting for our lives, fighting to be significant... fighting to overcome
that gnawing suspicion that we are nobody.(No matter who we are.) The
world IS in flux, and the most tiny seemingly obscure things ARE significant. Someone may need your smile just at the right moment. Someone who has lost hope in
humanity (and consequently has the filter in his mind to make the world
look hopeless) may need someone to just be a decent courteous person! It
doesn't hurt. People! Come on!
I don't care what your theology is or isn't, what persuasion or
affiliation you are, what your last name is NEVER give up the fight of
love!
People are significant.
Gentleness IS strength...
An angry man can be disarmed with a gentle word...
