Gallery 2- A Rockabilly Soiree...

in New Orleans's French Quarter!

NEW ORLEANS, La. 3/24/98 GARDEN PARTY!!!!
A Rockabilly soiree in the historic French Quarter...
Pink champagne on ice...it was very nice--Lou Reed.
Well, Lou wasn't there but BopGirl singer, Josie Kreuzer was guest of honor at a balcony bash on this balmy spring day...

She was not too into having photos taken but was gracious to artist, hostess & fan club pres, Rockabilly Rose, and posed for a few. Then gazing out at the view of antebellum lace iron balconies, she said, "I forgot how cool New Orleans was...

Pink balloons fluttered in the wind and broke in the sun to the amusement of the guests. Yards of pearls and silver streamers draped the numerous banana trees and tropical plants. A Dr. John impersonator sang in the street below to the beat of popping champagne corks above him. Tourists at a nearby cafe gawked a bit more than usual and Josie commented dryly ala Talullah Bankhead,
"People, how nice...hmnnn..."

Here are some pix shot down in the Azalea courtyard as Josie departed carrying her famous red purse (from cd cover) and gifts from the Fan Club-- a red long-stemmed rose and a bottle of "Frank Sinatra" special edition pink champagne...
