Happy New Year everyone. I hope everyone's had a good break and a good rest, because as of today it's back to school. And we all know what that means: within three weeks, we'll all be once again whining about the stress. My first day was pretty dull. I had one class and I'm probably going to drop it. I'm still finalizing my schedule but it's looking like I'm gonnna have a 4-day weekend this term, which should be nice. Speaking of school, I wish they'd get their act together already. I'm still missing most of my grades, and so is practically everyone else. To make matters worse, one of my classes still has no room assigned to it, so I won't even know where to show up Monday morning! Oh well, Concordia sait faire . . .

Vacation was amazing. So maybe I didn't get to go to Club Med like Shawna, but I had a great time in Florida, just relaxing by the pool on the couple of nice days, shopping, seeing movies, and the like. Then I went up north for New Year's and got in a great day of skiing. If not for skiing, I'd probably hate winter.

I guess I should be a nice sister and wish a happy 18th to Amy. Now that you're legal, maybe you can stop asking me to borrow ID. Also, a happy belated birthday to Rachel.

I've added a new thought and movie review. So you can check them out if you like. Oh, and I wanted to share some music I really like. The new Angie Aparo song, Hush, is amazing. I also like the new one from Incubus, Drive. For anyone who likes Babylon, the rest of David Gray's album is great too. And check out the band Steep, they're an indie band in Georgia and they totally ROCK. Joel, the lead singer and guitarist, is also the guitar tech for Collective Soul. They've got a demo album out, which you can order, and they're at work right now recording their first full-length. You can find out more at steepmusic.com.

That's it for now. Till next time!
