November 15, 2002
Hi everyone, and welcome to the next installment of the “inner workings of Sari’s twisted mind” show.

As usual, the world is hanging in there on the verge of explosion. We’re on the brink of war, antisemitism is on the increase, terrorism is everywhere, and Saddam Hussein is anxiously preparing new hiding places for a game of hide-and-go-seek involving naive weapons inspectors and some big-ass weapons. (Oh, and Svend Robinson and company are about to descend on Concordia University to bash Israel and, more importantly, annoy everyone.) Yet, incredibly and against all rational thought, I still find myself alive and my daily life going on as usual. So I figured, why not another site update?

Today, for your reading pleasure, we have a new review of the movie Bowling for Columbine, which - advance warning - is more of a political rant than an actual movie review.  Also on today’s menu is a new thought about the nature of beliefs and self.  Hmmm, perfect light fare for after Seinfeld, eh?

And of course, the big news is that Bon Jovi is coming to town with the Goo Goo Dolls in February, and I’ve got ticekts in the reds!

Perspective, as they say, is everything.
