COMMENTS
DECEMBER 4/98 - 7:00 - $5.00 - Slam Fest 5 - The Portuguese Canadian Club
Pud, Chewy, Sooped-Up Ritalin Boys (S.R.B.), Kato, Red Lion

This show was great. At the last minute, I pulled some strings to get a brand new hardcore band in place of CHEWY. RED LION did not disappoint. Their debut show kicked the ass off any show I had seen in Sarnia for a while.

OCTOBER 31/98 - 7:00 - $5.00 - Slam Fest 4 - The Portuguese Canadian Club
Pud, Sooped-Up Ritalin Boys (S.R.B.), Vas Deferins, Kato

This was a come back of Slamfests and the band PUD. These shows were pretty fun. People were supposed to dress up for it and stuff. We dressed up as much as we could in wimmin's clothing and stuff. It was fun..

AUGUST 24/98 - 1:00 - FREE - The Buff Brothers Big Summer Bash - Canatara Bandshell
Kato, Operation SRB (S.R.B.), Tom Orr Fiasco, 40 Ounces to Freedom, The Skanksters, + more.

This was another free show at the bandshell. Big time fun. By this time, Brian was back, and we rocked crazy style! Great show. Operation SRB was SRB playing all Operation Ivy covers. What a great idea!

JUNE 26/98 - 1:00 - FREE - Canatara Bandshell
6 Degrees from Bacon, Notorious Skanksters, Kato, Vas Deferins, Tub, Sooped-Up Ritalin Boys (S.R.B.), Aresol, Basement, Bittersweet, and more...

2nd S.R.Show. Really fun shit. We played as well as we could without Brian.. This was the unleashing of Free Society on the scene. We made 50 copies and sold all of them. Awesome first release.

end of April? 98 - $? - The Club Underground
Bittersweet

A show occurred around this time. I can't remember who else played though, even though I was there.

APRIL 9/98 - $5.00 ? - The Club Underground
Pen15, Kato, Tub, Puckface???, Vas Deferins

By this point, the punk scene had started to lose it's lustre for some, and they turned to Rave. I remember doing this show and having hardly anyone there, and a party going on across the street with all these people who I would have assumed would have came. This was Kato's last show for a while cause G$ broke his arm and A. Bettridge filled in for this one.

MARCH 14/98 - $6 advance/$8 door - The Polish Hall
Left Behind (London, ON?), Split Second, Pen15, Three Impotent Males (T.I.M.), Foolish Youths, Punker than Punk Punk, Aresol, Kato, Sooped-Up Ritalin Boys (S.R.B.), T.K.O., Bittersweet.

This show never happened.

JAN-MARCH 1998 - $? - ?
There were a couple of shows in between the last show of '97 and the ones mentioned above, but Brian P. moved to Windsor and Kato (my band) was getting accustomed to being a 3-piece again, so we didn't play at all - and I didn't get any flyesr from the shows (for whatever reason - jaded?).
