177)Erik Who? Ancestor Cult- As with all Machines of Loving Grace songs, I love the lyrics, even if they are too abstract for my feeble mind to fully understand. Scott's vocals and the backing vocals are impressive. And that powerful stringed outro always gets to me.

Best page I've seen for Machines of Loving Grace info. A lot of good stuff, up-to-date.

178)christopher james Tryst- my current favorite. i've been facinated by the principle of entropy for some time now. the opening line is chilling to me.

never seen molg live and from what i've learned from this page i probably won't. scott should not have shortened the name, it was grand.

179)Benjamin Brandt Suicide King- I had to pick this because when I first began listening to Machines of loving grace this was my favorite song. As time has moved on it's spread out from here to Solar Temple, Trigger For Happiness, Weatherman, X-Insurrection, Limiter, and Cheap. Each has it's own reasons, lyrics mostly for the ones off concentration and overall sound for the ones on Gilt. Gilt still remains my favorite album, although I find myslf listening to it less and Concentration more.

Unfortunately the Machines of loving grace were a bit beyond my time, being only 20 years old now I missed out on them for my childhood.... Thanx mom and dad for raising me in Vermont, the cultural black hole that it is, now I live in Philadelphia and mourn over the fact they once played here at the Trach... a place I know well. This page is a masterpeice and a tribute to a band underappreciated for their time, like so many others... (Bile, Meat Beat Manifesto, Gravity Kills, Frontline Assembly) May everyone get from the Machines albums that I do... and Scott... if you ever read this, don't despair... get your master tapes and get your music out to the fans!

180)Oleg Malashenko Golgatha Tenement Blues- Actually, it's very difficult to choose some favorite Machines song b/c I like them all more or less equally. So I've chosen the first one I heard from this greatest band.

1.Brilliant, keep on living!!!
2. Unfortunately I havn't, but I hope they are going to visit Mother Russia one day.

181)Amanda Young Acceleration- nothing other than it is a great song. it has awesome lyrics (i especially appreciate the one about the angel). it has great music behind the lyrics, too.

182)casey bean If I Should Explode?- First I must vent UGHHHHHHH!!!oh FUCK!!! I just read the news on your home page Scott has broken the band up. This ruins my day although I suspected it was coming. nothing new in years. okay why is this my favorite song. well it is hard to pick a favorite I think this song because of it's structure the begining guitar and then change and return to same chords later then there is the lyrics " if I should explode into gasping mary" Scott delivers thought provoking lyrics wrapped in rocking music that was much better in my opinion than Trent Reznor. Too bad! I had hoped they would reach a measure of success like NIN so they could reap the benefits ($$$) without cheesing or selling out Which I know they wouldn't.

yes I saw them live!!Once thank goodness I got that chance I have been a fan since Concentration came out and back in 96 or 97(can't remember exactly) they came around to my little corner of the world in Tampa,FL. The big problem was they were not the headline act (korn was)in fact they were third act behind some other group that I didn't care about or remember. needless to say the set was short but kicked ass for me and any other MACHINES fans there. I bought a cool shirt there with the cover to GILT on it. I will now have to wear only prudishly to maintain it. I love your Page it is VERY well done and I thank you for having the lyrics available. They fill in the holes where I don't understand what he sings. I would welcome any commnunications from fans who want to discuss MOLG or such.
