234)MOLG FREEK! All I Really Need- It's hard to say what may favorite MOLG song is. I love them all-no kidding! I first heard them on the Crow soundtrack and then went out to buy all of their CD's. The Concentration CD went with me to the mountains of Puerto Rico for 5 weeks. It was the only CD I had and there was no radio. I listened to it OVER and OVER again as it echoed around the mountains. My daughter was concieved to "Cicciolina" in a beautiful mansion on Mackinac Island. I really enjoy the music of this band and hope they come back together!

Have never seen them live, but would love to.

236)Omar Sheikh Solar Temple- Solar Temple. Beyond the Mountains of Madness. Perfect lyrics, perfect tune, a classic with few to which one can compare. I truly believe that the best bands lurk, hidden beyond the purvey of most mundanes, as are MG. The only band which has had a greater influence on my musical mutation is Fields of the Nephilim...And that says alot. Fields produced 5 full Cd's, Machines only 3 to speak of. The Nephilim is an almost impossible act to follow in the wake of the dawning night, but MG has captured my soul's languishing for solitary incandescence. For a musically picky "Dark Cell", I can't envision a life without their sound, almost as much as the genius prosetic musings of the Master himself, Carl McCoy. MG is a true tribute to the Dark side of the Gnostic soul, an incantation which invokes the simplicity of the Night while simultaneously evoking the complex, despairing insanity we inaccurately call life.

Never saw them live but I would offer my "ticket" for the opportunity. At one time, I'm sure this site was dynamic and lively. As sure as MG has aged, so has the site, and is in need of a new look. I'll overlook the static state because the site is a tribute to one of the truly brilliant unknown bands of all time.

237)Jas If I Should Explode?- It is the first song I ever heard from MOLG. I love how they did the guitar parts in the song. I like listen to it repeatadly over my headphones and focus on the different parts. But then, I do this with alot of other MOLG songs.

I saw them open for Korn in Atlanta, GA. Unfortunately the sound sucked. If I didn't know the songs , I could not have known one song from the next as it all sounded like noise. But I suppose, being the opening band, they didn't get a good soundcheck unlike Korn. When they played, everything was crystal clear! Oh well, at least I got to see them before they broke up.
