TAPAS aims to follow the Gurukula system of education as
far as training, completion and certification is concerned. Hence, there is
no fixed duration for finishing the curriculum of a particular level. It
solely depends upon the capability of the sishya. The sishya is eligible to
sit for the certification examination whenever the respective guru feels the
sishya is eligible to do so. |
||||||
The biggest advantage of Gurukula system of education is
there is a one-to-one interaction of the guru with every sishya and the
responsibility is equally on the guru to eligibly train the sishya as much
the pressure the sishya has to learn the art. At TAPAS, there is no
“packaging” of education whatsoever nor is any “crash coursing”. TAPAS
consciously discourages both. At TAPAS, we have made a very earnest and modest attempt to bridge the gap between the available and desirable in imparting cultural education and fine arts. |
