Dr. Jeffrey Geiger was chief cardiothoracic surgeon at Chicago Hope. He was a tortured soul, his wife went insane and drowned his child (Joey) in the bath tub, but a fantastic surgeon. Geiger tried many experimental procedures at the hospital, including placing a baboon's heart inside a man (1-3). After Alan Birch was shot Jeffrey left Chicago Hope to care for Alicia, but does come back to the hospital occasionally.

Wrote the book "Behind the Mask" Volume One.

Bought a controlling interest in the Chicago when the staff purchased Chicago Hope and it bacame Hope HealthCare.
