GRIZELDA THE GHASTLY GOURMET
PICSGrizelda is one of the most loved characters in the show. Every episode the Ghastly Gourmet cooks up a storm and boils up some trouble in her couldron. Zany fun and wacky hijinks (CAMMMM--PPPY!!!) make grizelda my favorite gal!!
THE MAHARAJAThis eastern mystic spouts some of the most twisted wisdom you have ever heard. He usually has something interesting to say, but it always comes out just a little bit wrong. Maybe that's why he gets dumped on by those flowers?
THE LIBRARIAN PICSThe librarian is another of my favorite characters. He is always trying to scare the viewer but seems to have a problem in doing so (he only reads nursery rhyms and morals). Oh well, I do enjoy the Librarian, and Polly, the bird he and Grizelda give a good whack once and while.
THE ORACLE PICSAs with most Oracles this guy tells us our future (or tries to). As he is on a constant slant (the castle is sinking in his room I guess), the Oracle breaks alot of his crystal balls, but continues undetered to tell us all about the different asian zodiac signs.
DR PET VET PICSBeing the kind hearted soul he is, Dr Pet Vet brings IGOR a pet each episode in order to educate him on the animals history and breeding. The animals are usually cats and dogs but even lizards and other exotic pets show up once in a while. Constantly trying to give a pet to the attention starved IGOR, Pet Vet continuosly leaves with the pet in tow as THE SLOTH never approves of the pet. Maybe next time IGOR, after all PETS ARE FRIENDS.
THE PROFESSOR AKA Dr Julius Sumner Miller
PICSThe eminent Dr joins us to teach all who listen about varying scientific principles. The good Professor loves a science lesson and provides a great opportunity to expand the minds of the young (even now I learn something from this show). The professor always uses props and example to demonstrate his theories. Great fun and a learning experience too.
THE SOLDIERSimply a singing soldier decked out in red. He never does finish his song, pie always ends up dripping all over his face and suit before he can finish. Too bad, everyone is a critic eh !!!
SUPER-HIPPYThis groovy "super-hippy" is far out man!! He flys through the scene to tell us the show will be back or to say it's returning. I always wanted to know more about this guy (in real life he is one of the producers brother). Fly on dude, you are the Greatest Frankenstonian Hero !!!
VINCENT PRICE PICSMr Macabre Himself is the "Narrartor" of the show. Providing us with poetry and segue into the next bit, Vincent Price makes many appearences throughout the show.
THE WOLFMAN PICSI AM THE WOLFMAN !!! Simply put one of the most remembered of locals in Frankenstone, the Wolf Man spins out the tuns on local radio station EECH. Sometimes hits, sometimes flops, the wolfman and IGOR dance away to the rockin tunes of the late 60's and early 70's. OUT-OF-SITE !!!
ZANYZOO WITH BWANA CLYDE
PICSThe Zany Bird never had a chance against Bwana Clyde. Never-the-less, Bwana doesn't shoot his trophies with a gun, he uses film. And each episode shows this safari vetern playing his film to us all in an attempt to educate us about the EXOTIC animals in our world. More or less he is like Dr Pet Vet, but exotic not domestic.
