True Statement: Lance Smart is a legend!
Reasons:Tinnies for breakfast, a motor home,a thong collection, a hubcap collection, accidently becoming rich twice,and losing all the money both times, having a hit single with a poor song, swapping comics with an eight year old, army style vests with pink vertically striped boardshorts,more beer for lunch with fish and chips,the hairstyle(or lack of), the gaffaw gaffaw, his talent with babies,joining the army then getting kicked out for flattening a car with a tank, his low I.Q, more beer for tea, swapping the salt and sugar around,and the luxury of wearing a different pair of thongs each day (if only moe people had thong collections the world would be a better place)
Upon searching the internet, and the many Home and
Away pages, I was shocked to discover that, apart from a dodgy,grainy cast photo from
1988, I could not find one single picture of Lance Smart, or the actor
that so expertly played him, Peter Vroom. So I thought that this has to
end, someone should be appreciating who was arguebly the best character
to grace the shores of Summer Bay (apart from Alf, of course). So I designed
this page to alert people to Lance Smart, and to salute this genius of
Australian television history.I think it's a bit harsh that Lance has not yet recieved a gold logie so this site will have to be the next best thing.
