Looney Tunes Newsletter 13-OCT-98

Hi Everyone,

Well the computer bug struck us and we lost about a weeks worth of email (4-8 Oct) so if anyone contacted us and didn't get a reply please send it again. Unfortunately we also lost 5 surveys that were done during this period, if you are in doubt about whether yours got through please email us and I will let you know if we processed it.

On the lighter side, the new WB Studio Stores Christmas catalog is out! Tons of goodies this year. I have listed the ones that caught my eye below. You can order directly from them at 1-800-223-6524 or request a catalog at the same number. About 10 items are exclusive to the catalog so don't put off ordering those. Last year we did and missed out on several ornaments. Hopefully there will be lots of other merchandise in regular stores too, I've already seen a set of small snowglobes and some votives and can't wait for them to hit the stores.

The Looney Tunes Collector

Seen in Stores

-Kmart's has some tin wall signs. They were pretty well hidden at ours, in the same area as the lamps and wall clocks. They had a no smoking one and a welcome one. Both were done in a 50's style. No prices on them.
-Michael's(a craft store chain) has the 2 do-it-yourself ceramic paint kits in. There is a Christmas tree one with the gang decorating it and another scene one. Both are about $30 each but you can always get one with one of their 40% off coupons.
-Sears has some new Lovables items in. A plush mobile, some new gift baskets and a tricycle($30). They also have a Looney Tunes small kids bike.
-Sears also has "Foamy Friends" in. These are the plastic bath sponge thingies with Tweety and Taz on them. Very cute and only $3.79 right now on sale.
-Target's has the Axius auto accessories on sale again. This is a full line of gear for your cars interior. Everything from trash bags to visor organizers.
-Target's has the new Miniami Christmas lights in. They have 10 lights on them. 3 Bugs caroling, 3 Lola Santas, 2 Marvins with gifts and 2 Daffy Santas. This is not the same as the set in the WB Studio Stores catalog.
-Walmarts has Christmas window clings in. 4 sets of the large stick on ones and 4 smaller suction cup ones at $1.69 each. Tweety, Taz, Sylvester, Bugs and Lola on them.
-Walmarts also has Christmas yard signs. They are about 2' tall and made of plastic. 4 different ones with Tweety, Sylvester, Taz and Bugs on them at $7.99 each.
-The rest below is all from the WB Studio Store catalog.
2 nutcrackers, Bugs and Tweety & Sylvester dressed as wooden soldiers. $35 each.

6 new Christmas Beanies-Snowman Bugs, Taz eating stocking, Tweety Santa, Sylvester in hat, Reindeer K9, Marvin Santa. $7 each or 3/$18.

Animated 19" Santa Tweety. Plays music $45(very cute!)

Tweety Tree Topper, he is an angel sitting on a crescent moon. $20

Marvin tree skirt. Has Marvin in a sleigh with K9 pulling it. Red with a white plush border, $45. (we got the Tweety one last year and it is very well made)

Cookie Jar-This years has Sylvester wrapping a gift that he has tied Tweety to. $40

Animated 23" Santa Sylvester stuffing Tweety into a stocking-Musical. Another nice one to go with this series. $85

Village House-This years ceramic house is a Taz and Marvin post office. You can also get a red truck to to go with it that has Wile E. driving. $40 and $10.

Light set-10 light set has 2 each of the following-Bugs in stocking, Tweety in stocking, Marvin in stocking, Sylvester in gift and Taz in gift. $15

This years salt & pepper set is Pepe and Penelope exchanging gifts standing on a peppermint. $15

Looney News

-Got the Stampers kit from the US Post Office and it has Marvin all over it. Wonder if he is going to be the next stamp?

Our Site Updates

-We added a new clipart pack. You can download it under the New Clipart page. 25 images-1 Baby Marvin, 2 Bugs Bunny, 2 Claude the Cat, 7 Michigan J. Frog, 11 Taz, 1 Tweety and 1 Yosemite Sam.
-The Christmas page is partially up. I should be finishing it up in the next 2 weeks.
-I am going to add a Phrases section to the Webcards too. You will then be able to find some cute and funny things to put into your cards right on the site. If anyone would like to submit a phrase for it feel free to email them to us.

-Submitting News or Product Information-We gladly accept any information we can get. We will give credit to you for the information in the newsletter. We ask that if you send us something that you be as complete as possible. Try to include the following information:Store or Catalog you saw the product in, price, phone number if it is a catalog or mail order place, character(s) featured on the product, a brief description of the product, and a URL if there is one for the company.
