She also decides that Raw FMs first outside broadcast is the perfect opportunity to make the jump from unknown dance vocalist to well-known dance vocalist.    

Similarly to Raw's dance party in the shopping centre car park.. this didn't quite work out.

BTW: Actress Sophie Heathcote, who played Sam, was nominated for an AFI award for this episode of Raw FM.

He signed a record deal after exposure on Hitz, and like Sam, also appeared   
(and sang) at station promotions.   

Hitz FM has also assisted a large number of singles by other artists make it into the national charts, after good sales in Melbourne triggered by Hitz airplay.
