Sam, the lesbian character with the
constantly changing hairstyle has decided that bald is the look.
She also decides that Raw FMs first outside
broadcast is the perfect opportunity to make the jump from unknown
dance vocalist to well-known dance vocalist.
Similarly to Raw's dance party in the
shopping centre car park.. this didn't quite work out.
This episode was filmed in the style of
"In Bed with Madonna".
BTW: Actress Sophie Heathcote, who played
Sam, was nominated for an AFI award for this episode of Raw FM.

Sam's character seems very similar to that
of a Melbourne pop-vocalist, who was 'discovered' during Hitz FM's third
broadcast.
He signed a record deal after exposure on
Hitz, and like Sam, also appeared
(and sang) at station promotions.
Hitz FM has also assisted a large number of
singles by other artists make it into the national charts, after good
sales in Melbourne triggered by Hitz airplay.
(When other stations did not play the song)
