What happenned?: Sorry.. I've had/still got that bug that half of Australia has been suffering from. :( EXCLUSIVE: To make up for my recent lack of news, here's something special. After getting a copy of the new Hitz Four CD, and being blown away by the excellent 10 minute documentary on the CD, I thought you should be able to have a special preview of the film on this site.. so here it is.. in four little parts! Wild Ultimate CD vote: Will put up Wild 9 vote section asap.. by the way, congratulations to Nic_Star who won our triple CD single comp, just for voting her faves into the best of Wild CDs. (she'll get a bundle in the post soon..) If you don't know already, anyone who votes for all ten CDs goes in another, bigger draw for 3 CDs.. Wild FM Sydney's Public License Hearing: The big day has come and gone. Most of the Wild reps that I've talked to were quite happy with how it all went. Here's a few of the things that were discussed: 'youth music', CD sales, future directions in music, memberships, music programming, volunteer/paid staff, music tastes in different areas of Sydney, potential mergers. Wild FM Brisbane Returns: They're back.. on 97.3 FM from November 11 until December 29 (subject to ABA confirmation). According to the offical Wild site, you can expect all your faves, including The WILD 21, Ministry of Sound Sessions, DJ Mix-ups from both Brisbane & Australia's best DJ's PLUS the big names from overseas! Wild Ultimate CD vote : The voting for Wild 5 has been the closest so far! Some of the most popular tracks have been.. Wild Brisbane news: Nicole Santo from Wild Brisbane has an excellent update on what's happening for Queensland dance music fans, including highlights from their most recent broadcast, and the proposed dates for their next broadcast.. (more) Wild Ultimate CD vote: If you haven't yet voted for your two fave tracks on Wild CD One , you've only got till THIS FRIDAY to do it! Hitz News: Jerome Tse, Hitz's station manager reports that the ABA has confirmed that Hitz will not be able to return on air until at least September 4th. The ABA will confirm more info soon. [see ~~Messageboard~~ (under 'new info') to read the whole message.] Also, the next Hitz FM CD will include something that has never been included on ANY CD released by ANY radio station in Australia.. what is it? 	July 4, 2000. Voting extended for best tracks on Wild CD 1!
Wild News: To make sure that everyone gets a chance to vote for their favourite tracks on Wild CD One, the cutoff date is now Friday July 14. (You'll only get a week to vote for each disc 2-10) At the end of the 10 weeks, we'll publish the results, and who knows.. maybe it could be released... So if you haven't already, vote for your faves on CD1... NOW ! Hitz News: Another Hitz CD on the way, to be released in time for the August 21 broadcast. I'm trying to organise an exclusive interview about that right now..
