oey Potter has had a pretty rough life. Her mom died of cancer, her dad's in prison for trafficking marijuana. She lives with her sister, Bessie, her sister's boyfriend, Bodie, and their son, Alex. Joey also has to work at her sister's restaurant, The Icehouse, which runs her completely down. What Joey hangs onto to keep her sanity is her best friend, Dawson Leery. That's even beginning to get hard for her. Eversince Jen Lindley came to town, her relationship with Dawson has been changing. She has started to fall in love with him.
