CURRICULAR AND CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES IN SMK AGAMA MIRI SMKAM is an active school (no choice!). This is because apart from having to carry out activities typical of a regular secondary school, it also has to carry out activities typical of a religious school. It can be quite a hectic time for the teachers but it is also a great fun being able to see students enjoying themselves with all these positive activities. After all, 90 per cent of the students are staying in the hostels. As such, the school has to think of ways to engage the students or they'd be climbing the school wall for all you know! One way of making the school a lively and interesting place is by alloting a month to each subject department in the school. There are 4 subject departments in the school, by the way. They are: Language, Humanities, Science and Maths, and Islamic Studies and Vocational. Each department comprises several subject panels. Language: Malay, English and Arabic. Science and Maths: Science, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Modern Maths and Additional Maths. Humanities: History and Geography. Islamic Studies and Vocational: Syariah Studies, Quranic Studies, Islamic Studies, Living Skills, Commerce, and Accounts. Page 1 of 3 :: next |
