OTHER EXAMPLES Below are some other examples taken from various subject panels from different departments. History: Patriotic Drama and Poem Recitation Geography: Orienteering Living Skills: Cooking Competition Maths & Science: Maths & Science Quiz Islamic Studies: Nasyid (religious song) As I've mentioned earlier, at the end of the month-long competition, there is the closing ceremony - at night - which is attended by everyone. Prizes to the winners are given that night and the winners will perform in front of the whole school that night. It is great fun. Apart from activities organized by the four subject departments, the school, with the help of the counsellor or other teachers, will normally organize other activities such as Motivational Camp for the examinations classes; Mentor-Mentee Sessions; Cross-Country; and educational visits to other schools or places. All these activities show that the school is very concern about the development of the students as a "whole" person. And I dare say that the school has done a good job in producing such students every year. :: Yours Truly |
