QS300 & XG UTILITIES

Here you will find some general utilities created for the XG standard. This means that they will work perfectly with your QS300, that is the first synthesizer complying with XG.

You can download and test these utilities immediately on your music setup. Enjoy !

	sysex.zip	Collection of 25 SysEx files. They can be used on all the XG synthesizer and are simulation of various effects.
	qs300doc.zip	Instructions how to create QS300 patches for use with DB50/SW60. Written by Fabrice Garrot. French version included. New enhanced version June '98. Some example files.
	controls.zip	List of CC (control changes) for the QS300 and the MU series (80/90/100). The .zip file contains both a controls.xls (Excel '97) and a controls.txt file.
	YamahaXG_ins.zip	Cakewalk Instrument Definition for the XG instruments. It was tested and therefore it works fine with the following Yamaha instruments: S-YXG50 / DB50XG / SW60XG / MU10 / MU50.
	Yamaha XG ExpertLine.zip	A .pdf (Acrobat Reader) file explaining the basics of the XG standard. Includes a clear comparison table with the GS and GM standards (in Italian only).
