The True Carpathians RPG
So,.. your interested and joining the True Carpathians? Great!! You've come to the right place however there are some requirements before we can admit you.
1. You would need to fill out the Pre-membership agreement in order to be admitted into joining. There are two ways to do this. One you can click on the link, located at the bottom of this page and we will send you an invite to join OR, you can visited the group site and join from there. Either way both are effective but if you want a quicker way in, click on the link marked "Pre-membership Agreement" below. Once we receive your inforamtion, we will sent you an invitation to join the True Carpathians RPG.
2. If your new at role playing or is wondering just who we are then read on below for some much need info about role playing on the True Carpathians.
The True Carpathians RPG Definition!
The True Carpathians RPG is a freeform (persona) RPG based off books called the Dark Series, written by the sensational AGX, Christine Feehan. Now here is where it gets interesting. Not only do you get to create your very own character, you get to join in on a current storyline in the Carpathian world. You also get to play out your most wildest dreams and that is to interact and play in our beloved AGX's world. You can create a Carpathian, a human psychic, a vampire, pretty much anything that has been made precedent in the books but with one exception. You can NOT, under any circumstances, play an established ancient, (i.e. Mikhail, Julian, Gregori,..etc.)
These characters are the property of Christine Feehan and therefore is COPYRIGHTED and we can not risk the chance of a member or two portraying them incorrectly. For safety reasons, the Ancients can only be played by a moderator. However you can include them in your stories as long as they are portrayed correctly as they are in the books, meaning,.. Aiden has NO other brothers besides Julian. Understand what I mean? I hope so. If not then feel free to email me and either the moderators or myself will get back to you pronto.
What is Role Playing?
New to Role Playing? Well let’s start with the basics of what Role Playing is. Role Playing is pretty much a process where one can play someone else. Kind of like acting but instead you write. When you role play, you are playing someone else of your creation, meaning you get to create a character of your choosing. Whatever if it’s a Carpathian, Vampire, human, or a near sighted banshee, you will be pretending that you are someone else when you are writing your stories to post on the site.
Now note, that I like to use humor whenever I explain things because to me role playing is meant to be fun. It’s meant to be relaxing, to take you away from the problems of the real world for a short time. That is what we at True Carpathians is striving for. Christine’s books can entice, intrigue the imagination while at the same time put the mind at ease when reading, so we intend to do the same thing. Feel free to use your imagination to the fullest and if you need help then we will help you along the way.
