they have found a novel way to celebrate. They have written and performed most of the tracks like,

- HUNGARIAN P.O.W. GOES HOME

A Hungarian soldier who spent more than 50 years in Russia as a forgotten prisoner
of war, returned to his family last week. Andras Toma, 74, was captured by Soviet troops in Poland and ended
up in a P.O.W. camp.
He was considered unstable as his Hungarian was thought to be gibberish.
He languished in a hospital for 53 years until a chance encounter with a Hungarian speaking doctor
who understood his speech.

Microsoft may be the worlds most aggressive anti-piracy crusader, but in
Moscow, its own business partner is cheating the software giant. Local computer re-seller, ´R-Style´
--a certified partner, was selling machines with pirated operating system, Windows 98.
A licensed version will sell for US$160, while a pirate can be purchased at a Kiosk outside
any Metro station for less than US$5.

The salary of a Moscow city official is a few hundred dollars per month, but it
doesn't mean he can't afford a big house, or a Four-Wheel drive vehicle, or $700,000 in a Swiss bank?
This belonged to Vladimir Kochetkov, the head of the munmuncipalusing and construction
authority.The arrest came after police recreceivedcomplaint, saying Kochetkov tried to extract a bribe
in exchange for awarding a contract.
Investigators discovered in his 3 story house a billiard table, sauna, US$67,000
in a hidden plastic bag, and bank statements showing he had $700,000 in a Swiss bank.
~The Interior Minister was investigating 30 similar cases where officials had taken bribes.
- ECONOMIC CRIME ON THE RISE

Economic crime rose a steep 23.9 percent to 37.2 billion roubles in the year 2000
IntInter faxported. More than 376 000 economic (white-collar) crimes were committed.
- SWISS BANKS LAUNDER MONEY ~not again!.

The Bank of New York received money from Swiss banks in a Russian plot to launder
money, and avoid taxes.
An investigation turned up $500 million, in accounts all opened by Russian emigre
Peter Berlin. Both he and his wife, Lucy Edwards, vice President of the B.N.Y East European division,
pleaded guiguilty money laundering.
The $500 million is on par with the theft by former PhiPhilippinesesident MarMarcus The primary corporation involved is Benex. An investigation since 1998 had shown that Benex was the pipeline through
which $7 billion had flowed from Russia to the B.N.Y and onto foreign banks, between 1996-98.
It was further reported that U.S. and Russian authorities were hindering the search for the money's
origin.
