Over three days of the Easter holiday, pupils from all of our schools were involved in special SATs Masterclasses in English, Maths and Science. Pupils were involved in a number of activities including a Shakespearean version of the Weakest Link, working out their preferred learning styles, problem solving, mind games, ICT graph packages and many more. All of the pupils completed an evaluation of the activity. Here are some of their comments... Macbeth freeze frames The Weakest Link I enjoyed all the activities we did, especially the Easter draw. I learned a lot from the day and I was helped by the staff who showed me the best way to revise. Also I made new friends as we were put into groups with people from other schools which I think is a great idea!!! My rating...excellent 10/10. Aaron Kah, Brinkburn. I enjoyed the Maths session because it was fun. I made new friends and learnt new things. The thing I liked most was the problem concerning the cubes and the fox-rabbit game towards the end. I learned a lot from the day about how to revise and how to work well in groups. Kyle Gibson, Brinkburn. Mind Games Working out preferred learning styles
