Jessie lived in Greengate for the first half of the 1900's. She was an
accomplished artist talented in several feilds of work.
Employed by Liberty's of London she designed fabrics and jewellery. Her
works include, illustration of children's books, designing toys and decorating
pottery and ceramics. Ernest Taylor was her husband, he too was an artist
and regarded as a leading critic and known for his design of pieces of
furniture and stained glass. |
