Big Al would try to put some moves on Jungle Grrrl as they drove down the street in Big Al's big pink Cadillac. They would get about half way down the block. The Cadillac would then come to a stop and the drivers door would open up and Big Al would be ejected from the car. Jungle Grrrl would then move over into the drivers seat and drive off into the sunset as she yells out "Dont hunt what you cant kill". Big Al would be laying in the gutter saying "I've been Jacked man". The homeless street people on the sidewalk would say to Al, "No, you just got your ass kicked by Jungle Grrrl dude".

There is something bugging me out:

The long break of WOW left a lot of us wondering, then your interviews & logging to the board gaved us hope that WOW will be back.
I've read an answer by another wrestler to a similar question ... now I'm all mixed up.

Is WOW facing some troubles & even the wrestlers don't know if the show is gonna be back or not?
(I got the feeling that all of you are in a stand-by, till you know)

I hope I would be wrong ... I love the show & I want it to continue.

I could be wrong, but we were at the grocery store the other day and we were looking through the National Enquirer. They had a behind the scenes picture from the Spiderman set, and she was the one that thought the girl in the background in the white robe kind of looked like you. Or... at least the back of your head . Just kind of interesting. A lot of Spiderman stuff is popping up online lately, so I've been hoping to come across an image or two for the page.

Anyway, here are some more questions. I like it that you have been encouraging us to ask.

1. When Selina took on Thug at the ppv, did Thug blade her? Stone Cold tore up JR on Smackdown the other night, but I couldn't believe the carnage Selina took in that cage match. Excuse my ignorance, but until recently I always thought the blood was fake. Apparently, there are razor blades involved??? If so, Selina is a down in the trenches soldier.

2. Did you buy the 79 Camaro? That's a killer car, if it's in good condition. I have this vision of driving down the highway minding my own business and, low and behold, what's that in the rear view mirror? Jungle Grrrl, tearing up the road in her cherry red hot rod and blowing my little Escort off the road as she buzzes by doing a cool 85. Excuse me, can I have an autograph?

3. How do you feel about us Hunter's getting into other forums and creating heat with other wrestlers on your behalf? Riot seems to love it but others seem to have been less responsive.

4. What do you think about Vince Russo saying that he is interested in working for WOW?

Regarding bleeding, I did a quick web search to look for a FAQ and found one that said there are only two ways that a wrestler can bleed. One is to blade as you've alluded to and the other is from a real injury such as a broken nose. Blading is done almost exclusively on the forehead because the FAQ notes that it's *extremely* dangerous to do so anywhere else. It also said that the internal bleeding from the mouth is not from blood capsules, because they're not used in wrestling, but more likely from a wrestler biting his/her tongue. I knew about blading and of course a real injury could make you bleed, but I thought that they did sometimes use blood capsules to imitate internal bleeding. Guess I was wrong there. BTW, web search for something like "wrestling FAQ bleed" and you should find the at least one FAQ covering wrestlers bleeding.

Thanks for the info, Dronak. JG, don't feel like you have to answer that one. I wouldn't expect you to be an authority on bleeding anyway. Riot, on the other hand, might become acquainted with it in short order if she keeps running her mouth about you... .

Thanks to Scorpio I just had a chance to watch your first match against Terri Gold.
I learned that Terri does over 2,500 situps a day but it didn't seem to help her as she got her ass kicked by Beastess.
It looked like you didn't even work up a sweat in that one Jungle. And Terri is the WOW champion!
No wonder they have played that match down.

Riot's trailer park legacy

JG, at first I thought you had Riot confused with Beckie with the trailer park heat, but today I found out it's true origins. I remember being home sick one day a few years ago when this zit laden, baseball bat wielding Riot-sputin appeared on Springer with her half-pint lover. The name of the show was "I married a trailer park midget". Guess what? It was Riot, and it all came back to me today when she mentioned the Springer show in her list of accomplishements.

She's been trying to smack you down on her forum, beastess, but we've been taking a little bit of the Jungle on the road of late.

Go to Springer's site and search under midgets. Wait, no, that will bring up 900,000 hits and you'll never find it.

Better search under street trash instead. That will narrow it by at least 3 grand.

New stompin' grounds!

Given all the hype around the new merger with WWF and WCW, I can only shudder to think of exactly what this will mean for the fledgling WOW, which if it gets much more popular may be deemed threatening to Vince McMahon, who (true voracious businessman that he is) will gobble it up given the chance. I personally hope such a thing does not happen, because WOW is damn good as is, but the possibilities for crossover matches is certainly interesting. I've already given some thought to possible upcoming crossovers between WCW and WWF (Chris Benoit vs. Lance Storm; Goldberg vs. Stone Cold; Big Poppa Pump vs. HHH; etc.). So what could this mean for our dear huntress? Naturally, she is perfectly capable of demolishing anybody anywhere, and it hardly seems fair to unleash her on WWF's "women" (I put it in quotations because 90% of their bodies is not even flesh, blood, or bone). Still, it would be nice to have the little organization come in and clean up with its own stars. Chyna could certainly use some cutting down to size (Grrrl, you can do it!). Naturally, this is all but speculation, but WOW's jungle is fast running out of prey, and the Grrrl is gonna need some new stompin' grounds pretty soon!

That's the spirit! I agree, all WWF women wrestlers (and the few women in WCW) are basically poster-children for silicon. You deserve a lot more credit than those women, and if you do make the jump to either of them, I'm glad to hear you won't just be a bag of eye candy for the masses (well, I guess that's inevitable). Just make sure that wherever you're grappling, you give us 100% like you always have!

That's a bit of a rash generalization, Ben. The WWF has some good female wrestlers, but they don't use them in that capacity b/c they feel that women's wrestling is not a draw - which is a valid point when you're talking about an organization dedicated to putting over men's wrestling.

The 2 best female wrestlers in the WWF, Molly Holly and Ivory, are very skilled and do not come with enhanced features, but they're being used more in storylines than in wrestling itself. And THAT's the real shame here.

Grrrl, not many women are as intelligent as you to realize that a little mystery is what keeps us guys coming back for more! Sexy to me is a strong, 100% real woman with class, not a plastic skanky bimbo. How sad is it to watch a great wrestler like Mona be a cheerleader at ringside only to get beat up by a man at the end of every match? WOW women are athletes first and them being very sexy is just a bonus for us guys!

When I made that generalization about WWF wrestlers, I never tried to insinuate either that ALL of them are that way or that none of them have talent, so I apologize for being so general. Indeed, Molly Holly and Ivory do not come with the extras and have some talent, but like you said, they get no respect whatsoever as wrestlers (did you catch that bra & panties match on Thursday?). To say that the enhanced ones have no talent is also wrong, but look at how they are used! WCW is notorious for this, taking girls with obvious talent like Midajah and Madusa and using them to little avail (poor Madusa will never get her career back after what they've done to it!). WWF's women's division could conceivably draw a crowd without having to resort to visual prostitution; I certainly know plenty of guys that appreciate an athletic girl's look and not a plastic bag of saline.

Ivory did get a boob job too. Just look at some old tapes from GLOW or LPWA...and like Trish, the Doctor did not do a good job on them! The whole problem with the WWF women is that they hurt the reputation of female wrestlers like Jungle Grrrl who want to be taken seriously. If I want to see porn or mud wrestling, there are tons of other places to find it besides pro wrestling.

I've never seen Glow or LPWA, so if Ivory got any enhancements, a) it was pre-WWF and b) they were more modest than most of the ones you see nowadays.

I hear some of the UPW ladies are pretty good. Can anyone confirm this??

It's getting to the point with Molly that I am losing some respect. In WCW she was among the top technicians on the show, male or female. She could take hellacious bumps from guys like Kevin Nash, but she could dish out some serious offense as well... twin cities twister, hurricanranna, handspring elbow, Indian Deathlock... she was awesome!

As much as I HATE what the WWF is doing to the ladies, some of the blame DOES fall on their shoulders for putting up with it. I've heard Molly interviewed and she's a sweet girl, but she doesn't need to subject herself to Dean Malenko's perv act and Vince's burlesque show. It's sad that her best move to date, the Molly Go Round, emerges from this heap of crap. I am to the point, she has options and she might take them. She's young, she's strong and she's talented. Like you, she could take on the world and beat it every time.

Lita... Lita loves it too much. She's content. I think she is gifted, but she's also a big old camera whore.

Jacqueline is great, but I have seen my last strap match between her and Trish Stratus. I'll just flip the channel next time.

Ivory... you're right JG. Chyna misses her mark some day and the janitor's mopping up silicon during the commercial break. Her mic skills are putrid as well, if you ask me.

Ivory doesnt seem any more enhansed now than when she was Tina Ferrari in GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling). She was much more buff then and has let herself go I think. Then again that was 15 years ago.

I agree with you, JG. There's a lot of talent out there that seems to go to waste in a heap of silicon glory. What we have are a bunch of athletic, attractive women that pretty much do a number on both qualities by grafting skin balloons to their chests. If they do it just for them money, fine by me. Let's just see them do something outside of WWF or the like. How long has it been since anybody saw Sable? Admittedly, she was fired for refusing to relenquish her last shred of dignity, and is probably living relatively comfortably now, but damned if anybody can see her anymore. JG, you have it right on the money; enhancement is just a good way to ruin your ability and attractiveness. You are perfectly well endowed with both already, so I'm glad to hear that you won't be taking that road any time soon.

I am totally with Phil on this one. Mona in WCW was awesome. Molly Holly is wasted. I thought for sure the WWF would push her more than WCW, but I was wrong! Molly deserves better. While the WWF women are only following orders, no one is holding a gun to their head to be there or do the things they do. I say who needs'em when we've got WOW? Not me.

Got JG squashing Bronco Billie (no need to dub that tape now, DP), plus the Disc getting over on Hammerin Heather, Slammy treating Summer like a Baywatch extra and Beckie holding her lunch in against Thug. It's routine to say that you don't want to miss this one, but it holds true yet again. Good promo with Riot and Julie. Drilling that door knob with her Mizuno I know now that it was Julie Day who missed her spot in that one, not the Raptor.

Anyway, I'm most pleased to get the one black void in my library restored. I missed Danger... NOT!!! I got JG vs. BB, after all .

One thing you may want to try - download a copy of Windows Media Encoder from the Microsoft website and compress the avi into an asf. You'll still get a large file but the quality will be much better than the wmv Movie Maker creates. That's what I'm going to do with the stuff I send you.

I am getting tremendous compression out of Windows media encoder. Any one of the current files at the site were originally around three to four megs as an mpeg, but the program melts them down to around one.

BTW, is everyone able to get the stream ok? I think you mentioned that you have a DSL or high speed connection X, but what about DS? If you have a dial up connection, are you stil able to get the high bandwidth files.

The great thing about the wmv format is that you can save them to disk, just like the mpegs. So, even if the high bandwidth files do not stream well, at least you can save them and run them offline. Much shorter download than the mpegs too. I am happy with these developments, had never used .wmv before . Haven't seen asf, so I'm realy curious about those.

The best thing is that they get saved then they run properly.

I think the easiest thing to do by far is send out clips of a show on a match by match basis. That way you can increase the quality and still keep the file relatively small. That's probably what I'm going to do in your case, since you only have a dial-up connection.

Uh, Xyphon. I don't think anybody told you so it's ok, but just an fyi. Show #3 was actually a mirage. It didn't actually happen. We don't like to talk about it around here because it only serves to corrupt small impressionable minds into ACTUALLY believing that Rolled Gold defeated beastess for the WOW title. McLane has been trying desperately to find all copies of that show and have them incenerated since I threatened legal action, so if you have a copy be watching your back.

But, show number 3 is kind of like area 51. Violators to be prosecuted with extreme prejeduce .

It's good, DS. I really appreciate it. I like to maintain a little bit better video quality, though. I have an old program called Winedit that allows you to take an avi and splice it any way you want. I think I got carried away on some of the mpegs, but it's a great tool for melting down the file size a little more so that you can encode with higher quality.

I just wish I had more web space that was friendly to multimedia so I could archive all of them at the same time.

Must Read WOW Fans: WOW is back

Why is everyone so down about WOW. Hey I live on the West coast and we lost WOW too. But let's have alittle faith. I know Jungle grrl's fans are probably the best WOW fans also. Just look at The Jungle.net. So read this article, I think WOW will come back better than ever. Maybe it's wishful thinking, ok I can go for that. Read this anyways this is one of the few positive "POP" for the show, the girls and David.This is the second part of a two part series. This is a great article about WOW. This Give us WOW Fans hope. Wasn't there a wrestler in the mid to late 80's named Koko B Ware who did a move similiar to the Michinokou driver? He used to call it the Ghostbuster. Koko B Ware was the stocky black wrestler for the WWF who used to bring a bird down to the ring with him. They called him the Bird Man Koko B Ware.

Honestly, that sounds familiar. But, I can't honestly say that I remember anything about that guy other than the familiarity of his name, either. I have a lot to learn from knowledgable wrestling fans because there are lengthy periods of my life where I didn't touch the stuff. WOW seriously revitalized my interest in wrestling. If it goes, I know that my interest will wane for another extensive period of time.

The Jungle Driver is a great move, though. Requires strength and power, a hallmark of all of JG's moves. It seems like I go out every day on the internet trying to find information on the moves I see executed in WOW. Starvenger's list is an indispensible starting point for anyone that is interested enough to do the research.

Who knows how many he simply "makes up" though .

The Ghostbuster was a brainbuster. He still uses it as a finisher, I think.

Amazing!!!!

I have to admidt at first I was not a fan...but I kept watching and each time I was more impressed. The PPV is what did it. The way you flew off that ladder just proved to me you really are Amazing!!! There really is no competition in WOW for you. Each time I see you just flat out dominate your opponent. You definitely do not need a submission move finisher because by the time your done your opponent is flat on their back and completely out of it. I personally think you should continue to finish your matches with the splash...and maybe to add a little insult on top of it you should end with a foot on the chest victory pose pin. Either way...You are the only reason I come back each week....

JGrrrl is one of the athelets which attract & intrest the fans by her AMAZING SKILLS & courage which stops at nothing.

JG, I have been wanting to ask you this since Unleashed? This may fall under the category of you can't say, but whose idea was the ladder splash? Were you asked to do that or did you originate the concept?

A question for Jungle Grrrl

Jungle Grrrl, I just have to ask you this because it's one of those things that bugs me and I don't like things that bug me.
I asked and got an answer from Phil this week about the seemingly mythical clean victory you managed over Terri Old during the early days of WOW. This win happened prior to the battle royal which of course as we all know decided the champion of WOW, Terri Gold.
Listening to Terri on the show #6 repeat tonight I noticed right away during the Julie Day interview that Julie said, to the effect, that Terri picked up the win over Jungle Grrrl and that it was all upwards from there.
Well, they conveniently forgot about your clean win over Terri! In fact that win seems to have been forgotten from a lot of people's minds, and is downplayed. Not having seen shows #1 or #2 yet I would not have known the truth had it not been for Hunter Phil's explanation.
After all of that my question is why is it Terri, who's supposed to be an honest face, doesn't make mention of this loss she suffered at your hands? And more importantly, don't you think this should play a major factor in giving you the number #1 title shot when WOW returns for the second season? I mean, only you and Danger hold wins over Terri. Shouldn't that automatically qualify you for the title shot?
Besides, how many more squash matches do you have to endure before you get some real competition?
Just wondering.

Yes, but I haven't checked yet. I have been anwering the board little by little all day. I have been a little under the weather, so I can't sit at the computer too long.

Hope you feel better. DS came up with the idea of getting you on an online chat soon, and Mike gave you an invite. It's not a shockwave interface anymore, so you might be able to get into it easier. Slam and Terri have done them and it would be greatttt to get you in there too.
