Research and script development for Empty Oceans, Empty Nets and Farming the Seas proceed in close collaboration with our Advisory Board. Our advisors include experts in the fields of marine biology, fisheries ecology, fisheries management, environmental economics, wetlands ecology, and rural sociology.

We are also relying on the research and expertise provided by organizations, including the National Academy of Science, the National Research Council, the National Marine Fisheries Service, the eight regional Fisheries Management Councils, the International Center for Living Aquatic Resources Management (ICLARM), the Southeast Asia Fisheries Development Center and the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
