Gracie, Lil Bit, Lori, Honey, and Sassy who are the active therapy pets I have currently. They all four have very different personalities and are fun to visit with. The picture above was taken November 2008.

Honey became a therapy dog when he was two. In fact, he went for his first visit on his second birthday. Honey is a Standard Poodle. He is also a big clown. You usually get a laugh or at least a smile from someone when Honey is around. He is not overly brave, but he handles most things fairly well. He does well with children and adults.

Sassy was registered August 2005 and is doing great. She is a Dachshund mix I rescued from the local shelter. She is cute with her hair trimmed and a big hit with the people that like to have the dogs cuddle and lean. She likes to lean her head on their shoulder. She has made a nice addition the other dogs and is an asset for the group. We let her hair grow out for Christmas as she plays Max pulling the wagon for gifts.

Gracie is a rescued Greyhound from Greyhound Rescue of Idaho. Gracie received her paperwork April 2006. She is very happy and outgoing. She will make a wonderful Therapy Dog. Gracie is taking up Greyhound Rescue to help promote the program and save other greyhounds. Gracie does not like pictures and is hard to get a good picture of her.

Lil Bit received his registration in July 2006. He was named because he was a little bit smaller than expected. He was only three pounds when he came to our house. Considering the next smallest is 27 lbs he was named Lil Bit. He now weights a whole 12 lbs and is very happy to be visiting people. He is spoiled fairly rotten and knows it. His nickname at the house is Itty.

Odd they are as close in color since Lil Bit came to me site unseen from the rescue. It does give you an idea of their size difference.
