The East Shore communities of Clearlake Oaks and Glenhaven
were one of the last areas around Clear Lake to be developed. Between 1930
and the mid 1960's several small resorts were built, some of which still
remain or have been turned into vacation rentals.
The Clearlake Oaks Island Drive County Park has free launch facilities and
fishing extends all the way to Kono Tayee past Glenhaven most of the year.
