Lakeport , Lake County's oldest
incorporated city, is the County Seat and home of the
Lake County Fairgrounds. It hosts the Summer
Concert Series lakeside at Library Park and an Oktoberfest festival in the
fall.
The Lake County Museum at 255 North Main Street has collections of
Pomo baskets, native plants, stone tools, and historic records of Lake County
and surrounding areas. The museum is open Wednesday to Saturday from 11 am
to 4 pm.
