A Cub Pack is made up of young boys and girls in the age group of 7 and 1/2 - 11 years old. Each group of six Cubs are led by a sixer and his/her second. They are responsible for their Six to be dressed correctly and obeying any instructions by Akela (the Cub Leader). Each six has its own colour. Such as Black, Red, Yellow, White etc.

The other leaders in the group take their names from the Jungle Book for example Rikki, Baloo, Chil, Kaa etc. Akela was the leader of the wolf pack in the Jungle book.

At the present time we have 3 leaders, Akela(Debbie), Rikki(Peter)and Odin (Chil). We meet on a Tuesday night at 6:30pm until 8:00pm. Activities include games, badge work, basic knotting, outings, craft first aid, knowledge and history of Scouting.

We also attend district events such as Cuboree's, hikes, and outings.

We try to take the Cubs on a camp at least once a term and we usually stay in halls but sometimes we do camp in tents.

Other outings we may have are kite days, fishing, bowling, canoeing, putt putt, swimming etc
