This photo shows the first Cubs initiation ceremony held at Tieri with new Cub, Peter Mcphee, and leaders Heather Sampson, Graham Watson, Roy Mcphee and Terry Brown. The ceremony took place at the old mess in the construction site which was later transported to the land in town and is now part of the Guide Hut. Something that comes to mind about the early Scout days was our continual efforts to Fund Raise - do you remember the millions of burgers required at the various "do’s"?? |
