Former prime minister, P V Narasimha Rao had a little unexpected publicity yesterday. In Bombay, capital of Maharashtra he was inaugurating a translated version of his English fiction, "The Insider." A notable Marathi publishers, Parachure Prakashan is to be thanked for publishing "Antastha" translated in Marathi by Ashok Jain, the executive editor of Maharashtra Times.
P V Narasimha Rao is a diplomat and a linguist. He is said to know twelve languages. That makes him a scholar. He spoke in Marathi, though his native language is Telugu. I would not be surprised a bit if he did the translation himself or better yet wrote the book in Marathi. Marathi is a rich language and many original treatises, literary or otherwise have been written in Marathi.
Mahesh Vijapurkar's account of this function never mentioned P V Narasimha Rao's personal scandals. Rao was accused of great misdemeanor while he was the prime minister. The Congress leader, as any leaders in politics and religion, have a tendency to blame others but not admit their own two clay feet.
As a linguist and as a leader of people, I like P V Narasimha Rao. As a moral leader, I give him minus 'D.' The corruption monster survives no matter who is at the helm. Former prime minister who was assassinated by bunch of crazy Tamil Tigers or their hoodlums was also embroiled in another great corruption scandal.
Two major ministers in Vajpayee's second government had to pack their bags and leave BJP administration in shame. BJP's technical and tactical unholy alliance with a known former chief minister of Tamil Nadu was their biggest faux pas. J Jayalaitha proved to be a bane and not a boon to these BJP Baboons. She whupped their collective asses and the government collapsed.
The scandalous Hindus keep the spirit of criminality alive. Lallu the criminal kallu, Lal Kishen Advani created mayhem and murder that resulted in five thousand deaths and crores of rupees worth property damage. The chief lieutenant of Lallu the criminal kallu, Kalyan Singh of the Uttar Pradesh BJP led coalition government had to resign on account of that Babri massacre scandal.
After so many years' of political and legal wrangling and rumblings, finally, J Jayalaitha was sentenced to one year's hard labor. That shoddy political drama chapter is not over as her insane followers burned three female students alive in the aftermath of the court decision.
The former defense minister Sharad Pawar also stabbed his political boss, Sonia Gandhi and being humiliated at the last general election is trying to get on this name calling bandwagon in a hurry to get some attention. Sharad Pawar likes the idea of criminal investigation of the allegations surfaced during the last BJP administration about the current defense minister George Fernandes.
In Bihar, easily identified as the criminal state where bunch of known criminals manage to get elected, term after term, the battle is between the known criminals and as yet unknown criminals. The funny fascist coalition, which has a name, National Democratic Alliance, "NDA" has stepped up their criminal enlisting for the upcoming state elections. I would not be surprised if the NDA hoodlums manage to wrest power from our criminal Laloo Prasad Yadav.
Back to P V Narasimha. After his shameless performance president Nixon managed to recover and kept going till he died. Nixon's scandals pale in comparison with Narasimha guy. Instead of being diplomatic about it P V Narasimha Rao is trying make a quick buck. Political commentary is a legitimate and everybody is welcome. Most all weekend warriors prefer an open commentary to the closet fictional creation meant to titillate the political palate of the village idiots.
Why didn't P V Narasimha Rao write his own political biography, not a fiction? We would have a benefit of his vast knowledge and experience to learn from? Fake authorized or unauthorized biographies do manage to make their run but a genuine, honest biographies are never attempted. I suggest that my good Brahmin brother, P V Narasimha Rao gets enough courage and lays his Brahmin pen down to do just that. Tell the truth instead of his "show and tell" fictitious pulp fiction.
May god bless us all.

Of Bottom-line and Bottle-neck

If even one jingoistic dingo dog like Ahmed Diwan calls me an anti-Indian, I am going to throw up. Not necessarily puke on these brainwashed, unwashed, uncouth, immoral ding bats shoveling RSS shit, not my style. I am going to gouge their youknowwhat from their youknowwhere. Bastards are blind as a bat
when it comes to notice great malaise that goes in Hindu India.
After three months, Orissa victims of the freak cyclone are still expecting Hindus, make it Hindu jingoistic dingo dogs to bring them relief. I am not surprised that they even get any. Most probably everyone and their brother-in-law must have siphoned off, licked off all such help, not meant for them but for the victims.
If I add all the words said for their Kargil fracas, frankly, there is not enough digits on my calculator to do that humongous addition, and add the words said about this colossal storm damage the comparison might be like Himalayas and an ant hill.
Bastards are still talking about Kargil like excursion, perhaps, more on the line of the Armageddon over Kashmir. They want more Indians to die. More poor Indians to suffer. More Indians to go hungry. More Indians to forego any and all protection of the law but insist on their war mongering.
Criminal Hindus, as if there are any other, run the government. They also run for the cover just as soon as disasters, natural or man made strikes their butts. The previous administration of Girdhar Gamang was stymied, stuck in the political mudslide and became useless at the top of the crisis.
Name calling and making begging trips to Delhi was Girdhar could do whereas charitable Christian, perhaps some secular and chaste Hindu organizations and their volunteers had to drag dead people and dead animals and dispose them off. There was not a stick of wood in the jungles which could have been used to burn those stinking cadavers. They had to improvise. I wish they
should have collected some political deadwood and made a good use of it. A little cruel comment but appropriate to show the callousness with which Indian leaders and politicians look at the real problems as against the spurious Kargil mayhem.

Kuldip Whips Some Muslim Ass
Monday, February 7, 2000.

One of my secret admirer, perhaps, adversary, sent me following article published in Kathmandu Post. Blessed are those who see the light.
I have already alluded to Kashmir malaise in more than hundred times. Shaikh Abdullah, the son of the legendary father with the same exact name is asking for more autonomy. The senior Shaikh wanted nothing less if not the outright freedom for his people. The boy Abdullah is an Indian puppet, for heaven's sake. No fire, no feisty spirit of freedom of his father.
Shaikh Abdullah's statement is not given much publicity, though India Today dated February 7, has featured him on the front page. Please refer to my earlier article, 'Of Criminal Crop and Fascists' Flop,' for the url.
Kashmir problem is as much a responsibility of Pakistan as it is a problem of Hindu India and Muslim and Hindu natives of Kashmir. Pussyfooting around this fire has done nothing for the peaceful relations between Pakistan and India and Hindus and Muslims of both these countries and Kashmir.
I never denied the Muslim malarkey in Kashmir. They are bad, period. Calling them bad has also not served the free India. They are on this name calling binge for over fifty-two years. If Atal Behari puts his foot down and declares that the only negotiation with Pakistan over Kashmir could start and finish on one agenda, that is to return Pakistan Occupied Kashmir to India. I think it is foolhardy, not to mention an exercise in futility.
The negotiations cannot start on such sourpuss note. Negotiations cannot even end on such a crazy idea. The need to make Kashmir peaceful again is a need of Kashmiri people and their peaceful or atavistic attitudes notwithstanding, their voices must be heard. The negotiations cannot exclude all the factions in this dispute. I am talking about militants and their Muslim sympathizers not the RSS variety of jingoistic dingo dog feces fascist factions.

OIC’s whipping boy
By Kuldip Nayar
Muslim nations all over the world have constituted a body, Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC), where they discuss problems facing Muslims living in other countries and pass lengthy resolutions. India with 120 million Muslims, is OIC’s whipping boy. Even though most Muslim nations swear friendship to India when they talk to New Delhi separately, they heap strong words on it when they meet collectively at the OIC. Strange, they have never discussed how terrorism is tarnishing their image and that of the religion to which they belong.
Whether the hijackers of Indian Airlines plane were Pakistanis or Afghanis, there is no doubt that they are from an Islamic militant group. They are
the ones who are giving a bad name of Islam. Even the hijackers are reported to have observed that they were not bothered about Kashmir but they were concerned about the Umha (Muslim brothers). How have they helped the Umha by hijacking innocent men, women and children is not understandable.
The OIC should convene an urgent meeting of its members to discuss the specific instance of the Indian plane’s hijacking. Since Pakistan is its member, it should explain its conduct because the plane was taken to Lahore from Amritsar. Islamabad’s hostility towards New Delhi is nothing new. But the issue was that of human rights. Instead of appreciating that point, Pakistan Foreign Minister Abdus Sattar began abusing India when the plane was still on the Lahore airport tarmac. How could anyone, much less the foreign minister, say that Indians had themselves planned the hijacking and exposed some 160 of their nationals, including women and children, to the dangers of crash or death to malign Pakistan?
From Delhi it looks as if Islamabad’s efforts are directed towards sustaining tension in the neighboring country by one method or the other.
As if it has no other program. This way, it believes, it can keep people occupied in its own country. They have been asking questions about why both military and civilian governments have failed to tackle the basic problem of want and hunger. India is not better off but it has at least a democratic system which is accountable to the elected parliament. And it does not use religion to justify its existence.
Still, the hijacking has strained our secular polity as the intrusion at Kargil did. Whenever there is anti-Pakistan feeling in India, there is always a danger of its taking anti-Muslim shape. Any Hindu fundamentalist group can put the haystack of anger to fire. People have seen through the game and the BJP led government has maintained the inter community peace. Yet it cannot be said with certainty that we have turned the corner. There are people who equate Muslims with Pakistan.
One wonders whether Pakistan is determined to disturb the Hindu-Muslim harmony in India. No doubt, it would like it to be a Hindu republic as Pakistan is an Islamic republic. It would want to prove to the world that there was no alternative to the two-nation theory. So far India has proved Pakistan wrong and established that religion is not the basis for nationality. But it is time Pakistan ended its nefarious activities. The Muslims in India have paid enough price for the partition.
However, one finds that Indian Muslims are generally silent when they should speak out. The hijacking is one example. No Muslim organization
or leader has issued a statement to condemn it. This is not to say that they have to prove their credentials by doing so. But when five out of the six hijackers are Muslims, some voices of criticism would have set at naught the propaganda by the Hindutva elements that the Muslims do not react when it comes to criticizing Muslims.
There is no love lost between New Delhi and the all-party Hurriyat Conference. It is engaged in a struggle for Kashmir’s independence. Still, when some of us approached officiating chairman Moulvi Umar Farooq, the organization issued a strong statement and called the hijacking an inhuman act, "detrimental to the cause of the freedom movement of Kashmir." In fact, the Hurriyat conference held a special meeting to discuss the hijacking and its ramifications on their movement and condemned it outright once again.
The reaction of the West was really slow and disappointing. For three days there was not even a murmur of protest. At the request of Foreign Minister Jaswant Singh, some powers spoke, more to go on record than to condemn the hijacking. None of the leaders, neither President Clinton nor British Prime Minister Tony Blair, spoke or rang up the Indian Prime Minister. They were celebrating the last Christmas of the millennium. In fact, such an attitude should make it clear to Pakistan, if it needs to be told, that the third world problem would have to be sorted out by the countries comprising it. The West has no altruistic interest in the problems we face.
Human rights organizations and groups were too conspicuous by their silence. The biggest let down was by the Pakistan human rights activists
who, no doubt, overawed by the military regime at Islamabad, could not speak out to condemn the happening and to express sympathy with the passengers and the crew, who were treated most inhumanly. Indian human rights organizations, as many as 13 of them, issued a joint statement within 24 hours of the hijacking. But no frontline newspaper printed it. This shows the mindset of the media. One representative of a Hindi daily rang me up to complain why human rights activists were quiet. When told about the statement, he said he had not seen it.
If anyone has to be singled out for real criticism it is New Delhi. It did not show the agility or alacrity the hijacking demanded. The cabinet and the top bureaucrats were in session practically all the time. For the first three days, they seem to have done nothing except dotting the I’s and crossing t’s. They had no idea what to do. The UN Security Council should have been requested to meet within hours of the hijacking. Russia would have been willing to initiate the move if the west was dragging its feet.
Our National Security Commission mouths the right types of cliches on nuclear weapons but has neither the vision nor the intelligence to deal with real problems requiring immediate action. The three service chiefs were quite justified in complaining that they had not been associated with the hijacking from day one. Their role may be the most crucial in the long run.
That the Prime Minister, the Foreign Minister and the Civil Aviation Minister did not have the full picture for the first hour of the hijacking is not surprising because the right hand of the government does not know what the left is doing. Deputy Minister Chamanlal Gupta was speaking all the time, without any information. He was a disaster. Criminal lapses have taken place, particularly the one at Amritsar. One hopes some heads will roll.
Brahmins' Brothel in Sadashivpeth, Poona
Monday, February 7, 2000.

I call these Poona Brahmins by a derogatory term, Sadashivepethi, translated it means one of the worst beings. I could have said human beings but I cannot. They are not humans under any definition of being considered as humans. Pigs, perhaps, shit worms perhaps but definitely not humans.
I have a running feud with these heinous Hindus, not because I dislike them. What is there not to like them? They are the darlings of California computer coolie coal mine operators. They are the new Brahmin brat boys setting the agenda and time table for the heinous Hindu, Brahmin rule.
They are not shy about their object either. Give me merely couple of words posted on the internet newsgroup discussions and I can tell what kind of shit worm is the poster. There are not too many variations but a keen observer can distinguish between a baby worm and a baba, as in boss worm.
The problem is they don't just accept the reality. The reality within their own backyard, guess where? Sadashivpeth, Poona. These denial con artists make up glory stories and rewrite history, especially their own Brahmin interpreted con history and judge others by that concocted history.
Of the great cons we witness in the world this convoluted logic of Poona Brahmins could be the best. People buy their shit as if it were a manna from the heaven, a prasad. Criminals are everywhere and Brahmins would have their share of criminals. I am not denying the human nature and the good and bad that they can choose is essentially their privilege. Bad people are bad and
good people are good. If Poona Brahmins run brothels in Sadashivpeth, their sanctum sanctorum, inner courtyard, they should cut down on their usual and customary name calling.
