Welcome to
The Technology Bazaar

As you walk into the Bazaar in the center of the Hiring Hall, all forms of weapon salespeople try to sell you their wares. The booths at the outter edge of the huge stadium sized pavillion are filled with small arms manufacturers trying to sell you the latest in personal weapons. A bit further into the crowded pavillion, you reach the infantry equipment booths where any and all types of support weapons can be found. Soon you reach the vehicle manufacturer's marketplace, where all types of ground vehicles and aerospace fighters are for sale. As you finally reach the center of the large stadium, you sell all types of BattleMechs for sale. You spend hours looking through the booths to find the best deal you can to upgrade your current equipment.

BattleMechs:

Animated Warhammer GIF These BattleMechs have been designed for struggling mercenary units that need to watch their budget carefully. These Mechs all have different models to allow any unit to purchase one, and standard refit kits have already been designed for when an owner aquires enough money to upgrade the Mech. These upgraded versions can be bought instead of the standard model. Aside from the low price, each Mech is designed with only energy weapons. This helps new mercenaries out by cutting down the cost of ammunition and the time needed to calculate the amount needed for each mission. In other words, this new line of Mechs saves time and money.

These BattleMechs have been designed for units to utilize the best in communications gear. If using every advantage possible is your motto, then these are the Mechs for your unit. These Mechs have been designed to use the Command/Control/Communications Computer from the Draconis Combine to maximize the effects of teamwork in units of company strength or lower. Aside from this tactical advantage, each BattleMech is outfitted with the latest in equipment available. These Mechs are best used by units that have a secure supply line to a manufacturer that can replace these components because many components are extremly rare on the open market.

All of these BattleMechs have been designed using MechWorks Version 1.1 (mechwork.zip) from Jeff Keyser.

Engineer's Tools:

These tools and utilities are designed for techs of all types. These tools can help unit technicians do basic field redesigning and refitting. Some are even able to help engineers in their daily task at the drawing board. There is bound to be at least one utility here that will help a tech out. Some are so easy to use, even the most technically disadvantaged individual will be able to handle them. Just load one up into your noteputer and watch it do it's magic. If it's not the type you want, just return it and try another one.
